To know the future of a person, it is necessary to establish the subject of the nativity, that is to reconstitute the state of the sky at the time of its birth. All information is the horoscope which concerns the character of the person and the past forecasts and to come.

The horoscope is divided into twelve different celestial houses which govern different areas of life.

The Babylonians were the first to set out the twelve houses used today by the majority of astrologers. The houses were numbered from the east downward under the horizon, and represented areas of life with their areas of influence.
The first six houses are below the horizon, while the next six sit above it.
